Apricot Brandy
This apricot liqueur is made from apricot juice, distilled apricots, sugar, strong syrup, high-percentage alcohol and water. It’s been known in Serbia as (lat.) kajsijevača (cyr.) кајсијевача.
Homemade Apricot Brandy recipe
Ingredients:
1 Lbs. Sugar (Spices and Flavorings)
4 oz. Brandy (Liquor (White))
1 Lbs. Apricot (dried halves) (Fruit)
Drink Recipe Instruction:
Boil the apricots whole in enough water to cover them; lower heat and simmer until tender. Remove the skins. Boil the sugar in enough water to make a syrup and pour it over the apriots. Allow to stand for at least a day. Pour out into a jug or large bottle; add the brandy, seal and store a year. Strain and bottle when ready for future use.
